“I wanted to say thank you for looking after my mum this year for 6 weeks while my dad was recovering from his operation. I know she really enjoyed talking with so many of you as new faces really brighten her day. Thank you also from me for always making me feel so welcome when I came to visit her, and for no question I ever had being a problem. It really, really helped me when I was looking after dad to know that mum was safe and being really well cared for. 20+ years ago you looked after my nan for 18 months and now you’ve helped look after mum too!
